Lab News
May 2022 ::
- David Lohman, Kwaku Aduse-Poku, Jing Leong, Tenzing Doleck, Y-Lan Nguyen, and the entire ButterflyNet team posted a pre-print presenting a robust molecular phylogeny with 92% of all butterfly genera. The paper further explores the diversification, biogeography, and host use evolution on a global scale. This highly collaborative project involved co-authors from 28 countries on 6 continents.
- David Lohman was presented with the CCNY Divison of Science Award for Excellence in Teaching, Curricular Innovation, and Assessment by the Dean of Science.
- David Lohman, Kwaku Aduse-Poku, and colleagues publish a paper on the evolution of Limenitidinae butterflies.
- David Lohman, Kwaku Aduse-Poku, and colleagues publish a paper on the role of past climate change on diversification of the Afrotropical butterfly genus Bicyclus.
