For tourists who want to get close to nature but don’t like long trekking, Ton Pliw Waterfall is the answer! The road to the waterfall is paved along entire route. Tourists can park their cars in the parking lot near the waterfall and then walk for about 50 m to arrive and face the gorgeous Ton Pliw waterfall. In the rainy season, the waterfall is full of water. It looks beautiful, but it is not suitable for swimming because the strong water currents from the mountain make it dangerous. The safe season for swimming is in the beginning of the year in the dry season from January to March when the water still flows, but is not so dangerous. Ton Pliw Waterfall is in the vicinity of Khao Chong Botanic Garden, but is under management of Khao Chong Wildlife Conservation Development and Promotion Station. |
